Most want to just jump right into the Pew Pew stuff, Dogfighting, laser guided weapons and launching AMRAAMs and Sidewinders. But it is extremely beneficial to learn the basics of the Aeronautical environment and understand the mundane tasks of receiving Taxi Clearances, proper radio phraseology, start up, take off, landing as well as navigation between waypoints and TACAN stations. Having the basics down, makes the Pew-Pew stuff much easier and a lot more fun and rewarding!
