Perfect material feed = maximum sorting quality! In this video we show the SPALECK ActiveFEED feed hopper, a high-performance feed unit for recycling systems. This technology ensures a constant, optimized material supply so that sorting devices such as Eddy current separators Eddy current separators magnetic separators inductive sorting devices optical sorters sensor sorting devices X-ray sorting technology (XRT and XRF) can work at their maximum performance peak. 🚀 How does it work? 🔹 The ActiveFEED adjusts the material feed fully automatically to the respective recycling material. So-called recipes are available to the operator for this purpose. In these recipes, the recycling company defines the materials to be processed and specifies the quantity of the respective material to be fed to the various sorting devices per hour. In the recipes, the company first sets the optimum quantity per hour for the sorting device and its process sequence. The ActiveFEED then regulates the feed fully automatically and very precisely. This avoids both costly underperformance and overfilling of the sorting technology. It also reduces the effort required for hand picking or reworking.
