I finally decided to get and play this game, I had concerns that if I started this game I wouldn't be doing anything else for a while. This game requires your intuition to play because there is minimal hand holding. When you start out, you should immediately find a cave and/or elements necessary to recharge the life support and hazard management systems. Making it your immediate priority will mean not dying within minutes of starting the game. Each time a new game is made it is in an entirely different place in the universe, so none of the games are quite the same. So now that you've mastered the art of not dying from the environment, you will need to repair your equipment. Repair your scanner first, then the analyzer. The analyzer will let you see what elements an object has so you'll know what to look for when you need it. After receiving a signal about a starship nearby it is a good idea to go investigate immediately. The next step is to repair the ship and go from there.
