I'm also putting a ban on utilizing Dohter's with jams or BP items because that is far too broken. No support skills from subjobs either, I don't know how "No Subjobs" actually means "No Subjobs but level them for Patience, Hale & Hearty, Hang Tough, (de)buff extenders and Surpassing Power." Low level wasn't an official restriction, but I ended up like this after both of my playthroughs and I despise grinding over actually getting good. Only a nuclear option that was never needed. That said, it did bring good advice; since I can't really turtle at this level, I have to kill everything threatening fast. Omniscient Eye is easily the tankier of the two phases with 1k def & e.def, and 500k HP, but I can't bring Olberic along to shred it because he doesn't deal with souls fast enough. Since Cyrus is coming, Ophilia has to come for Aelfric's, and Prim for Peacock. Sealticge's Seduction and Reflective Veil allow me to nullify the Eye's damage and properly use Elemental (lol this boosts physical too) Surge to my advantage. Tressa is also there because Hired Help is strong and she's the only member with weapon slots available to double boost a Wind Soulstone (L). Eye for an Eye (, Incidental Attack, and Second Serving) is unequipped because it's far too disruptive to break setups, and for this phase specifically can cause Raging Soul to counter or change elemental weaknesses unexpectedly. This is also why I don't summon during the 5 elemental weaknesses phase; I can't plan around random summon attacks. Phase 2 starts with a chance to instantly lose; Lyblac and Maw taking their actions consecutively and in that order will instawipe the party if it's Elemental Augmentation into a Sorcerer spell. Maw's spells are easily the most dangerous part of this fight and warrant its immediate death. During this fight, Galdera's AI breaks. After the Maw dies, both extremities have their shield caps raised to 10 and the Blade starts using last phase moves except for moving twice a turn, as if only one extremity was still alive. Might as well been the case. Reviewing videos of other Galdera runs and my runs show that just destroying Maw causes Lyblac's AI to break and only use Soul Healing on the dead Maw until the Blade is destroyed. Not sure how this oversight escaped the devs, but I'll use it. Galdera himself is a chump that dies in three Brand's Thunders, but he can instantly wipe the party with Eternal Void and Exterminate after recovering from a break. Eternal Void is why I captured a Curator Mk. II, as Mental Boost (All) buffs my e.def enough to survive the attack. Combining Dohter's Charity and Alfyn's Sidestep concoct stops Exterminate from oneshotting two of my party members. Galdera doesn't live to see another action afterwards. Oh, and when I used Ruinous Seed + Curious Bloom concoct at the beginning of phase 2? Complete accident, I meant to use Injurious Dust + Curious Bloom for a single turn of AoE Leghold. Worked out in the end though by allowing me to break the Blade on the Maw kill turn.
