NGI Sargasso: Innovating the Next Generation Internet Together

What happens when innovators from Europe, the United States, and Canada join forces to shape the Next Generation Internet? NGI Sargasso has spent the past years building bridges across the Atlantic to support cutting-edge digital innovation and strengthen collaboration between leading research and innovation ecosystems. Through a series of open calls, the project supported dozens of innovative projects and researchers, enabling them to collaborate internationally and advance technologies aligned with the European vision of a human-centric, trustworthy, and open internet. From AI and data sovereignty to blockchain, cybersecurity, digital identity, and privacy-enhancing technologies, NGI Sargasso funded and supported pioneering solutions tackling some of the most pressing challenges of our digital future.
