I honestly think that for majority of users Hypersmooth stabilisation by itself gonna be probably enough as long as you are going to use your camera to record in broad daylight outside of your home, this camera needs a ton of light. Hyper smooth doesnt work well when in low light as its shown in the video so its not meant to be used indoors or when there is simply not enough light, the same thing happens whenever you put an ND filter on your camera. You simply reduce the amount of light that is coming into the sensor thus camera shutter will slow down to let more light in over a longer period of time so we experience motion blur instead a crips steady shot. But as i said for majority of users probably Hypersmooth 3.0 gonna be good enough, if you really want to have the best results out of your camera please stick to Hypersmooth "High" or Boost" for the best results enable Linear + Horizon Leveling with this setting your camera gonna be almost like a gimbal, just be aware that your camera gonna crop in significantly on your image to have extra room to stabilise the video, this thing doesnt happen with a gimbal because its all done in a mechanical way so there is no need to crop on your image. I wish they continued with their development of Karma Grip gimbal but I have to admit that EIS ( eletctronic image stabilisation) is quite convenient as its not as bulky, its easier to carry and you dont have to be so careful about it whenever its going to rain or there will be some water involved. Its also easier to mount your camera and rely on that stabilisation for most of the situations.
