Review of Maxcatch Floating Fly Fishing Line WF4

Back to the River Exe to try out my bargain £10.90 Maxcatch WF4 floating line from Amazon. I started with the 3 weight line to match my rod but it felt a little light and struggled with a downstream wind and didn't feel like it was loading the rod. I went back a few days later with a 4 weight line that I then bought and it felt a perfect match for my rod. And at last I managed to find some trout that were willing to rise, despite the weather still being too cold and that persistent downstream breeze. So in my amateur opinion, these lines are fantastic for their price, I'm not shooting line 50 yards out, I'm fishing with maybe 25-30 foot of line out so I need something smooth, delicate, no cracks and no memory. The next test is how long they last.....
