A warm Spring day at Birmingham Airport with a variable light breeze resulting in a runway swap halfway through. So the best of both worlds, with some overhead departures, then the second half of the video with the close up take offs and low landings. Quite a few interesting movements to look out for as well. Right at the start of the video, just managed to capture it from the train station a Nordwind livery, now owned by HiFly Malta A330 departing with a charter flight to Austin, Texas! Another A330 in was a Turkish A330-200, instead of the usual A321 on the morning flight. Also a National Airlines 747-400F, which wasn't showing any info on flight radar but took off bound for Germany. Also some of BHXs other regulars, TUI & Qatar 787s, Emirates A380, Jet2 737s, Ryanair 737s, Air France & Aer Lingus. Also look out for Ryanair performing a go around, after "floating" down the runway beyond the touchdown markers. Performed a lovely missed approach and made a successful landing on the second attempt around 10 minutes later.
