RIT Kali Club - Interview with Doug Marcaida

Online zoom event held by RIT Kali Club. Before Doug Marcaida went to judge in Forged in Fire, he was teaching the Philippine martial art, "Kali" classes here in Rochester, NY, and as a wellness course at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). That wellness course is still offered every fall semester, and a club, formed by those who had taken it, continues to be active throughout each year. Our main topic was Bringing Kali to Rochester, but we delved into other subjects as well, such as Kali in the times of Covid-19, The importance of martial arts for College students and those in their 20's, and where the future of Kali may go.
