The road from Caripande border post to the town of Cazombo in the Moxico Province of Angola could be a long and arduous road if you’re not prepared. It’s best to get the formalities at the Chavuma border post in Zambia behind you early in the morning to arrive in Cazombo after lunch. There is nowhere one can sleep along the way, and accommodation in Cazombo itself is limited, so if you start your journey after 1 o’clock in the afternoon, you will have to drive at night, which is extremely dangerous if you don’t know the road. The road to Cazombo is challenging.
