The NASB 2020 really caused a huge stir. I read it in five months, and what I found was it to read like the NASB95 and the CSB sort of merged. I loved it. Sure it had some head scratching spots, but that’s true for any translation. In my experience any of the vitriol toward this translation is simply unmerited. It preserves in my opinion the integrity of the word of God, while also updating the language where it makes sense to a modern English speaking world. I readily admit that I do not know the original languages, so I choose to trust the reliable English translations over the years that I have read and use them to compare. With all the said, I was really excited to see the 2020 get some calfskin and semi-premium love. In this video I show you all three cover options (leathertex, genuine leather and of course calfskin).
