New Evolve R2 Remote - Evolve Skateboards Weekly Ep. 45

We are stoked to introduce the latest update to our remote technology - the Evolve R2 Remote. The R2 remote is the successor to our current GT remote control and is designed to work with your Evolve electric skateboard. In this video we will take you through the features of the new remote, such as updated acceleration and braking functions, new LCD and battery readings, deadman/safety switch and vibration alerts. We will also pass it over to some of our community members for testing and feedback. The Evolve R2 remote will be included with all GT board sales from now on. We have an initial supply of remote controls which you can buy individually, with more coming in January. We will also be offering a big discount on the new remotes until the end of February 2018. The new remote is compatible with the majority of our current range of electric skateboards including the GTX, Carbon GT, Bamboo GT and ONE Board. It will work with any board with a V1 or V2 remote setting. If you are unsure how to check this have a chat to your local distributor, check our website or get in contact with us. The new remote has been in development for well over 18 months and features a number of improvements such as: // Magnetic Accelerator trigger control with extra long acceleration curve. // Magnetic Brake trigger control with extra long brake curve. // Digital LCD screen displaying speed, distance and battery capacity in real time along with performance diagnostics. This includes the battery reading for both the board and the remote // Safety/Deadman switch with programable option. // Rubber over mould hand grip for ultimate comfort. // Vibration warning sensors // New wireless 2.4G for a strong reliable signal Check out our website for more information on the remote!
