Branch Lead Professor Kevin Couper and Deputy Branch Lead Professor David Brough introduce the Neuro-immunology Branch of the Lydia Becker Institute at The University of Manchester. The neuro-immunology branch of the Institute acts in partnership with the Geoffrey Jefferson Brain Research Centre to look at interactions between the brain, innervation of peripheral tissues and organs, and local immune responses which form the basis upon which patients experience symptoms in inflammatory diseases.
