Game: Chrono Trigger System: Super Nintendo Version: (US) This is the longplay of the game Chrono Trigger, a turn-based RPG game produced and distributed by SquareSoft and released for Super Nintendo in 1995, both in Japan and in the United States. The story of this game stars Crono, a young redhead who lives in the year 1000 after Christ and begins at the time of the Millennial Fair, an event that was organized to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of the founding of the Kingdom of Guardia. Crono then goes to the fair and meets a girl named Marle, who is the princess of the kingdom, but who dresses like a commoner because she finds the life of a princess too boring, in addition to having the company of Lucca, a woman inventor, childhood friend of Crono and owner of great intelligence. Lucca then has a new invention, a teleporter, and Marle applies to take the test, but her necklace reacts and ends up teleporting her to another period in history, making Crono and Lucca go after her to rescue her. With this in mind, the game's story begins, when Crono begins to travel through different periods of time, from the past to the future. During the game, the aforementioned characters discover that millions of years ago, destruction came through a meteor shower, which decimated life on Earth and separated the continents. The person responsible for the meteors was an alien parasite called Lavos, who remained dormant and growing stronger for millions of years, until being awakened in 1999 AD. Humanity's hope lies in Crono, who must travel through the time periods to rewrite history and will count on the help of several friends from different periods, each with their own story and motivations: the knight Frog, a combat robot called Robo, the prehistoric warrior Ayla and the sorcerer Magus. Almost all characters have magic of different elements: Chrono uses electricity, Marle uses ice and healing techniques, Lucca uses fire, Frog uses water and Magus uses dark magic. The only characters who do not use magic are Robo, who uses explosive weapons, lasers and healing techniques, and Ayla, who uses much more physical strength and combat techniques with her bare hands. The game was developed by a team called the Dream Team: Hironobu Sakaguchi (creator of the Final Fantasy series), Yuji Horii (director of the Dragon Quest series), Akira Toriyama (creator of famous mangas, such as Dragon Ball and Dr. Slump) and producer Kazuhiko Aoki, while the music was done by Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy musician). The entire team worked with the idea that this game would have to be revolutionary, involving multiple endings, a dramatic story, a good battle system and beautiful graphics. Here, the decisions made by the player can impact the events of the story and the ending of the game to be obtained, with 13 endings in total. Without a doubt, one of the best games in the history of gaming, with excellent graphics, captivating characters and an unforgettable soundtrack. The video was made by obtaining all the chests (both common and sealed), all the single, double and triple techniques, all the best weapons, armor and accessories for all the characters, all the tabs (both from chests, from shiny points and also stolen from enemies with the Charm technique), all the possible visits to Black Omen and all the side-quests (including the maximum number of cats in Crono's house and the dolls of all the characters). The video was made with the two main endings, and I decided to face Spekkio's last form only after finishing the first ending, and after that I made a small cut and returned at maximum level to make the video more watchable (yes, I confess that I needed to use a small experience modifier cheat after 36 hours and 27 minutes of video, so I could return at maximum level without having to spend more hours grinding and finish with the best ending). I hope you like the video, it was one of the coolest videos I've ever recorded.
