A winter wonderland, in -4 temperatures, up to Catbells, Maiden Moor and High Spy, to complete the second part of the famous Newlands Horseshoe. After previously completed Dale Head, Hindscarth and Robinson, this hike completed the full horseshoe and apart from falling flat on my face, as I stepped onto black ice at the start, I had a stunning days hiking, with superb views, on all three summits.
