Got a Drobo 4n, 5n, 5FS (others with external PSU?) that refuses to boot? All the lights on the front flash and the green light on the PSU flashes and it just goes round in a loop not booting. I have also seen others where the PSU whines as well - this is classic switched-mode PSU failure.
