Mob Thrashes Woman in Jharkhand’s Giridih Over Suspicion Of Being A Child-Lifter

A woman was thrashed by mob over suspicion of her being a child-lifter outside a bank in Jharkhand’s Giridih. She was later rescued by police. Police said, "It was a misunderstanding. A woman saw the victim playing with her 2-year-old son and suspected her of being a child-lifter.” Police further added, “A woman left her son with her 8-yr-old daughter outside a bank and went to withdraw cash. Victim, who was also going to bank saw the boy crying and started playing with him.
