In this episode of Masons Rugged Roads, Mason heads back to Hogwarts to see that magician of suspension Tom Barrington of TB Racing. Mason had reported back to Tom that the T7 was still a bit tall after it had the full K-Tech Suspension rebuild done a while back, and Tom said "that's easy we'll just add a spacer to the rear shock" You'd think by adding a spacer to the internals of the rear shock wouldn't lower it, as it sounds counter intuitive, but it sure did work. So sit back and relax and watch a master at work, Tom not me, as he explains "HOW TO" dismantle your rear shock absorber, add a spacer, then rebuild the entire shock so that the seat height of Masons Yamaha Tenere 700 sits that little bit lower WITHOUT reducing the actual ground clearance of the bike, or upsetting the performance of the rear shock.
