After Vlad pointed out that the halftime performers in years past were Elvis impersonators and late comedian George Burns, he added that "In Living Color" creator Keenen Ivory Wayans came up with the idea to air the sketch show during the halftime performance in 1992. The show featured a timer so that viewers could go back to watching the Super Bowl, which led to millions of viewers leaving the Super Bowl to watch "In Living Color."
