Doom is easily one of my top 5 games of all time. I actually played Doom 2 first, way back when it was released, and since then I’ve owned pretty much every version of the game on every system I’ve owned, from PC, SNES, N64, PS1 and PS4, Xbox 360 and even the Oculus Quest. Somehow, I never get bored of playing it, and amazingly, its only really in the past year or so that I’ve started to dabble with the literally thousands of Mods that are available for the game. Thanks to the scientists at NASA, even idiots like me who use a Mac can easily add mods to Doom and I now have access to hundreds of new weapons, enemies, levels and even total conversions. And that’s what we are looking at today. Some of the mods and total conversions for Doom and Doom 2 that I’ve played recently, which once again proves why Doom will continue to live on. In case you’re wondering, I am playing all these on my iMac using the free GZDoom application, which I cannot recommend enough. It transforms Doom into something that honestly still plays better than most modern FPS games. 00:00 - Intro 01:25 - 1 Monster 03:53 - Pirate Doom 06:23 - Barista 09:07 - Urban Brawl 11:45 - Decadence: A Tarnished World 14:00 - Demonsteele/Scythe 2 16:35 - Total Chaos 20:10 - Lycanthorn 22:40 - My House 24:35 - Trenchfoot
