BISHOP MAIRURA GRACES A THANKS GIVING FOR ST.THERESA'S GEKANO GIRLS, COMMENDS GOOD PERFORMANCE

Kisii Diocese Bishop Joseph Mairura has commended St. Theresa's Gekano Girls secondary school for posing an outstanding performance in the last year's K.C.S.E examination. While acknowledging the strides that the school has made in nurturing the girl child since it started in 1976 , Mairura said that the school has grown and improved to the level of competing with academic giants . Bishop Mairura also emblored the school's principal Sister Marry Stella for molding the girl child to be a all round person in society and for posing good results in the national exams . He also reiterated the commitment of the Catholic Church's role in the education sector adding that it's the only equalizer in society.
