The concept of this song came about from an incident which took place back in High School. I was able to go out to the NightClubs in 1979 because the legal drinking age was 18 years old. I recall going to a country western dance hall called the "Yellow Rose" near the end of my senior year of school. Upon entering the front door, I noticed a group of fellow students from school gathered on one end of the hall. I proceeded to go over and mingle with the group. There was one girl in particular that I really admired but she was the girlfriend of a real jerk! We kinda knew each other but never talked much to each other. So, later in the evening, her boyfriend became jealous of her mingling with the group and took it upon himself to yell to her that they were leaving. This is where I'm stopping the storyline and let you listen to "Blind Love" and hear how the story ends.
