Do you wish you had a more masculine sounding voice but can't get your pitch low enough? Well don't worry, because pitch isn't the only thing that's important! In this video I talk about two other aspects of voice—resonance and delivery—and offer practical tips for adjusting these characteristics based on the voice masculinization training I've been doing. I am pre-T as of the time of recording this video, but because these tips aren't related to pitch, they can help even if you're on T. (Disclaimer: I do NOT subscribe to the idea that a masculine-sounding voice is necessary for transmasculine people. Everyone deserves to have their gender respected regardless of what their voice sounds like. The purpose of this is simply to share what I've learned about masculinizing my own voice in case it might help someone else.) Voice training resources that have helped me: -Voice Masculinization wiki on r/transvoice ( / mascsources ) -Voice Masculinization playlist from Your Lessons Now ( • Плейлист ) -Victor Lu's videos on deepening your speaking ( • How to Deepen Your Voice Without Testoster... ) and singing ( • Trans-Masc/Nonbinary Singing Voice Trainin... ) voice pre-testosterone -Vocal Gender Tutorials playlist from AmaRose Lessons ( • Vocal Gender Tutorials ) -Zoey Alexandria's How To Achieve A Natural Male Voice series: part 1 ( • How To Achieve A Natural Male Voice , part 2 ( • How To Achieve A Natural Male Voice (P2) , and part 3 ( • How To Achieve A Natural Sounding Male Voi... ) If you have any other resources, advice, or personal experience around voice masculinization, please share them in the comments! I would love to gather more of this type of information in one place and make it easier to find. Most social media algorithms are notoriously unfriendly to queer content, so if you could please like, subscribe, and share this video with anyone who would be interested, I would super appreciate it! :) Music used in this video: Ocean View by Patrick Patrikios from the YouTube Audio Library You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, & Original Glaze at @gckinsey
