(9 Dec 2015) STARS TURN OUT FOR ROBERT F. KENNEDY RIPPLE OF HOPE GALA Apple CEO Tim Cook was one of the recipients of the Ripple of Hope Award in New York Tuesday (8 DEC. 2015). The Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights hands out the annual award to celebrate leaders in business and entertainment along with activists who commit to social change. Past honorees have included former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Taylor Swift, Bono and George Clooney. Tickets for the gala cost began at $1,500 (USD) but a quarter million dollars would give you two seats at the head table. The event is designed to raise money for the Center. Other attendees included actress Lena Olin and her husband, director Lasse Hallstrom and comedian Kevin Nealon.
