Duel Monsters and Duel Monsters II are both officially in the books. So now it's time for me to take on the third game in this collection: Monster Capsule GB for the Game Boy. A loose adaptation of the Monster World arc between Yami Yugi and Yami Bakura in which Seto Kaiba, under the influence of the Millenium Ring, traps all of Yugi's friends inside of Monster Capsule figurines. And so Yugi must travel through Death T once again to take down Mokuba and each of the early Duelist Kingdom foes en route to a final confrontation with Seto Kaiba, in order to free not only him from the Ring's control, but also to rescue all of Yugi's friends. There is a catch to this game that'll make completing a Perfect Playthrough that much more difficult: There are five levels in which each of Yugi's friends remains trapped inside. You so much as get a single game over in that level, that friend will be lost forever. Which not only means losing out on their figurine, but also other pieces of unlockable postgame content. So...no pressure. Main Objective: Defeat Mokuba Kaiba, rescue Joey Wheeler, and clear Level 1.
