So I bought a bayite ferro rod off of amazon. Man this thing has turned out to be quite the investment. I've been using it now for about 4 weeks and absolutely love the thing. I do highly suggest this item if your looking for a cheaper and more heavy duty firesteel to add into your hiking pack or bugout bag. I would not suggest something of crap quality and I would be the first to tell you if it is! I want all my fellow hikers/preppers to have quality gear that will last them when they need it most. To anyone watching after January 2021, I've been using this now for well over a year and a half now and have started countless fires with this.
