Traveling to a forest beyond the desert, the group crosses a series of rope bridges, while being chased and attacked by a group of mandrills. After succeeding in crossing the bridges, they are reunited with Alex (Nick Jonas), as his avatar Jefferson "Seaplane" McDonough, and Bethany, who is operating another new avatar called Cyclone, a black horse who can only be understood by Finbar. What’s the movie Jumanji: The Next Level about? Unbeknownst to his friends and fellow adventurers from the previous film, Bethany (Madison Iseman from Goosebumps 2), Fridge (Ser'Darius Blain) and Martha (Morgan Turner), Spencer (Alex Wolff) has been keeping the pieces of the Jumanji video game in the basement of his mother's house. Returning for the vacations, while living a difficult student life in New York and forced to share a room with his convalescent grandfather, he fixes the system and is drawn into the game. The next day, his friends, with whom he had a brunch date, drop by his house to check on him, but find that the game is running in Spencer's basement: they all decide to enter Jumanji to save him. Spencer's grandfather Eddie (Danny DeVito from Batman Returns and Junior) and his friend Milo Walker (Danny Glover from The Color Purple and Proud Mary) hear the commotion and inadvertently get drawn into the game and become two of Jumanji's avatars. Bethany is left out in the cold. The teenage friends must help Eddie and Milo get used to their game avatars, help them find Spencer, and escape Jumanji again.
