Walking the Northamptonshire Round - Stage 1 - Brixworth to Nobottle
A winter ramble. This is our 1st stage of the 50+ mile long distance trail that circumnavigates Northampton taking in some of Northamptonshire's prettiest spots. This stage started at Brixworth Country Park before descending into the Brampton Valley. Across fields to pretty Church Bramtpon before heading up towards the villages of Harlestone which are quintesential Northamptonshire villages showcase some of the best aspects of rural middle England. This walk ends on the ridge and roman road at Nobottle. It was a damp and gloomy day but the lovely walking and countryside was enough to lighten anyone's heart.
