This is an invitation to slow down completely. Soft, Slow, Surrendered Yin Yoga is a deeply calming, all-levels practice designed to support rest, release, and nervous-system downshifting. Postures are held for longer periods and approached with minimal effort, allowing gravity, breath, and time to do the work. This practice is not about stretching harder. It’s about letting go. We move slowly and intentionally, giving space for connective tissues to hydrate, the mind to quiet, and the nervous system to settle into a state of safety and ease. Stillness is treated as a practice—not something to rush through or fix. Expect floor-based postures, generous pauses, and a steady invitation to soften effort and listen inward. What This Practice Supports • Nervous-system downregulation and deep rest • Release of chronic tension and holding patterns • Improved joint hydration and connective-tissue health • Increased body awareness and interoception • A felt sense of calm, spaciousness, and surrender This practice is ideal for evenings, recovery days, high-stress periods, or anytime you need to rest without disconnecting.
