Jammu Kashmir News: Last Rites With Honours For Soldiers Lost In Doda | Doda News Army Honors 10 Soldiers Killed in Doda Road Accident | Wreath-Laying Ceremony A solemn wreath-laying ceremony was held to pay tribute to the 10 Indian Army soldiers who lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Doda district, Jammu & Kashmir. The accident occurred when a bullet-proof troop carrier skidded off the narrow, snowy Bhaderwah–Chamba interstate road at Khanni Top, plunging into a deep gorge during a mission. The ceremony, led by senior Army officials including Lieutenant General P. K. Mishra, saw representatives from the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, BSF, CRPF, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and civil administration pay their respects. Wreaths were also laid on behalf of the Lieutenant Governor of J&K at the tricolour-draped coffins of the martyrs. The fallen soldiers came from various parts of the country, and their mortal remains are being escorted to their hometowns for last rites.
