My First Time at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! | Disney Cultural Exchange Program 2025 🏰✨

For my very last day in Walt Disney World on my Cultural Exchange Program, I got to experience something I had been dreaming about for so long — Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for the very first time! And honestly… I couldn’t have imagined a more emotional, magical, and bittersweet way to say goodbye to this chapter of my life 🏰💔 This night felt like Disney wrapping everything I love into one perfect bow! I met some of my absolute favourite characters, including Mickey & Minnie and Winnie the Pooh & Friends, moments I’ll cherish forever. I walked through all the fun treat trails, collecting so much candy 🍬 (because yes, I absolutely took full advantage), and took countless photos around the park in my Tinkerbell Pirate Fairy costume — truly living my best fairy tale fantasy 🧚‍♀️🏴‍☠️ As the sun went down, the emotions really started to hit. Watching Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade, seeing the villains take over the stage in Hocus Pocus: A Villains Spectacular, and ending the night with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Spooktacular fireworks felt surreal. Standing there, watching fireworks over Cinderella Castle, I realized this was one of my last nights as a Disney Cast Member — and that hit hard 🎆🥺 I finished the night on Main Street, U.S.A., taking it all in one last time. Saying goodbye to all my amazing PhotoPass friends was such a bittersweet moment — hugs, tears, and so much love. This program gave me friendships I’ll carry with me forever 💖 And then came the hardest goodbye of all. I saved it for last… Anthony, my bestie 💖. Saying goodbye to him absolutely broke me — and yes, I cried. A lot. Probably more than I thought possible. But it just showed how special these connections are and how deeply this experience changed me 💖. This Cultural Exchange Program has been more than I ever could’ve hoped for 💖✨. I am endlessly thankful for the friends I made, the memories I created, and the opportunities I was given 💖. From visiting Epic Universe twice, to experiencing the Wild Africa Trek, to being completely surprised by my sister flying out to visit me, spending precious time with my family, and getting to experience the very first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season — every moment feels like a dream I still can’t believe was real ✨🏰 Thank you, Disney, for giving me the chance to live out my lifelong dream of being a Disney Cast Member — even if it was just for the summer 💖.
