Sunny Drive from Cimanggis Depok to Cililitan East Jakarta via Jagorawi Toll Road No Music - No Talking - No Commentary // Use Your Earphones for enjoy the ride ================ Cimanggis is a sub-district in Depok city, West Java province, Indonesia. Cimanggis sub-district is located in the eastern part of Depok, at an altitude of ± 115 m above sea level and has an average rainfall of 200.91 mm/year. This sub-district is an expansion of Gunungputri sub-district during the days of Kawedanan Jonggol. This sub-district was also once an assistant to the Cibinong Kawedanan area, precisely in the Cimpaeun district, which is now part of Tapos Sub-district. The history of Cimanggis is inseparable from the history of Buitenzorg, because in the past this area was part of Kawedanan Jonggol and an auxiliary of Kawedanan Cibinong. The formation of Cimanggis Sub-district was in line with the establishment of Depok as an Administrative City. At the time of its establishment, Cimanggis Sub-district used the office area around Jalan Raya Bogor, which now houses the UPTD Fire Department and is located in the same complex as Cimanggis Police Station. In 1986, Cimanggis Sub-district occupied a new office at Jalan Radar Auri No.15 until now. This area is the center of the National Jamboree activities. This urban village was expanded from Cawang Urban Village on July 29, 1986. Cililitan Urban Village has an area of 1.76 km2 with a population of 50,730 people in the 2020 census. Cililitan was named after one of the tributaries of the Cipinang River. Today, there is no trace of the creek. The word ci, which is Sundanese, means river water. Lilitan - fully lilitan - kutu, is the name of a shrub whose scientific name is Pipturus velutinus Wedd., belonging to the Urticeae family (Fillet 1888:201). In the mid-17th century the Cililitan area was part of the Tandjoeng Oost partisan land, when it was still owned by Pieter van der Velde (De Haan 1910:50). Then it changed hands several times until it was renamed Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. The airfield is usually called Cililitan Airfield (vliegeld)[1]. The Jakarta–Bogor–Ciawi Toll Road or Jagorawi Toll Road is the first toll road in Indonesia[1] which was built in 1973, connecting Jakarta-Bogor-Ciawi. This toll road is managed by PT Jasa Marga and passes through the areas of East Jakarta City, Depok City, Bogor City and Bogor Regency. This toll road was built at a cost of Rp. 350 million per kilometer at the rupiah exchange rate at that time.[2] This toll road with a length of approximately 50 km was inaugurated by President Soeharto on March 9, 1978. When it was inaugurated, the toll road only reached the Jakarta-Citeureup section and also only had 2 lanes, with 200 employees.[3] The Jagorawi toll road is the first toll road funded by the State Budget from foreign loans, then the management is given to PT Jasa Marga as the company's initial capital and is a government investment.[4] Source: https://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jalan_T...
