An unhappy physician following immaculate trifocal IOL after extensive discussion and detailed planning that included changing the eye dominance as was determined by the previous surgeon. We used our "signature" blended vision targeting +0.5D with-the-rule cyl in both eyes to enhance intermediate and near vision. The outcome was rewarding for the patient that enjoyed better than 20/20 at distance and almost J1 at near with excellent intermediate. More important in my opinion is the drastically omproved contrast sensitivity in all spacial frequencies to above normal that will also ensure alongside significant spectacle independence: excellent visual clarity.
