The first RS model from Audi is the Audi RS2 Avant, usually known as Audi 80 RS2, was a limited edition, high-performance five-door, five-seat estate car commonly known as a station wagon. Audi R S 3 is a high-performance ultra-powerful car with 2.5 Liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine that makes just over 400 hp and 500 Newton Meters of torque. Audi RS3 2022 has an all-wheel drive train. The 2022 model is 7 horsepower and 20 Newton Meters torque more than the previous R S 3 model. Both have the same powertrain. Just like the previous RS3 this is automatic transmission only, it is a 7 speed dual-clutch automatic. You can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. There is something interesting I want to show you. When you look at the engine you see 5 red panels over the engine, that's the international automakers' signature of how many cylinders the car has. RS3 has the best brakes compared to its siblings. 375 mm discs at the front, 310 mm discs at the back and at the front you have got six-piston calipers. Carbon ceramic brakes are optional. Carbon ceramic comes with the dynamic plus package which includes another few performance upgrades. If you have the dynamic plus package, you have 290 km/h of top speed. If not, it is about 250 km/h. Starting from the headlights, there is a nice feature on the driver side daytime running lights. When you unlock the car, driver side headlights flash to mimic the word RS 3. And the bottom part of the daytime running light is like a checker flag as this is a sports car. Front grille is huge and there are 2 air intakes on the side. All these are honeycomb shaped. These help to cool down the engine. Audi R S 3 comes with 19-inch alloy wheels as standard. You can get these wheels as a five-spoke design or 10-spoke design and you got red brake calipers. There is an add-on that you can get Pirelli Trofeo R .These are racing tires and it’s available for $450 extra. If you get that tire, you have to sign a waiver at the dealership confirming that these are racing tires that won’t have typical street usability. There are 6 driving modes. 3 standard modes that come with almost every Audi. Those are Comfort, Auto and Dynamic. You can select these modes by pressing this Drive Select Button on the center control stack. There are 3 special performance modes. You can press the “RS” button on the steering wheel to select those modes. The 1st special mode is “RS Individual”. It allows you to configure torque, suspension, drive and steering to your liking. The 2nd special mode is “RS Performance”. This mode is not customizable. It has optimized the performance to the highest degree possible. 3rd mode is pretty special, it's called RS Torque Rear. You have to click on the screen to enter this mode. Once you click it, you are given a warning not to use this mode on public roads. This is built in drift mode. It sends the power to the right or left rear wheel so that you can drift with ease. It does put more power to one side than the other to help drift pretty easily. Safety Features: The Audi RS3 is unrated by ANCAP and Euro NCAP, though A3 models have a five-star rating. Category scores included 68% for AEB Pedestrian, 68% for AEB Cyclist, 73% for AEB car-to-car, 73% for lane support, 89% for passengers. This comes with 7 airbags, Audi pre-sense front (AEB), Adaptive cruise assist, Blind-spot monitoring, Rear cross-traffic assist, Park assist, Front and rear parking sensors, 360-degree camera system.
