Now I have all the components that I wanted to include and upgrade to my smartphone filming rig...I just needed a base to house all of these. What's up guys, EIZ here of coznowEIZcan. Thanks for visiting my channel. This is where I share my thoughts/feedback on tech items/gadgets I use or pique my interest. So with all the new and upgrade items I have - field monitor, bigger LED panel, the USB-C hub and connectors, I needed to have a central rig, that could potentially house all of these. Inside the box: Evolution Pro (pre-assembled) lens cup ND Filter; CPL Filter blinder (for smartphones with corner camera) shoulder strap double end 1/4" mounting screw 2 mini screw (for mounting the blinder/removing 17mm portion of optics adapter) instruction manual Apart from the smartphone clamp, everything is made in aluminum alloy. The top and bottom open rail along with the cold shoe on each handgrip are made of high grade aviation aluminum. This basic rig is very lightweight, which is a plus since you will be attaching it with tons of accessories. Each mounting screw that holds the evolution pro is equipped with a 1/4" mounting hole, which provides more endless opportunity in terms of accessories. The Evolution Pro supports a grip on each side, now these can also be removed if you fancy changing and re-purposing each end. Once your smartphone is loaded it will be securely assisted by the foam roller on the opposite end. The most convenient function that this rig has, at least for me, is the Lens mounting contraption. It allows for different types of screw-in lenses to be used. This frees up the section usually covered on the smartphone by the Lens Clip. Now I am fully able to utilize the screen when filming.
