The 27th main series original composition on this channel. This time, I bring you a slow, near-glacial track, which is a nod to the long, frigid winter my area has sustained for the past three months and counting. Everything about this track is themed around the idea of a cold winter day, from the chilled instrumentation to the glacial combination of slow tempo and dark minor scales. There are moments of elevated action, there are even moments of hope and momentary bliss; however, the frigid undertone remains throughout. This was made using SMP v1.4.2 with a combination of various soundfonts, the latter allowing for an optimized instrument lineup for this track. The key is C natural minor (other modes also appear throughout the arrangement), and the BPM is 64.
