Box 453 Greenwell Springs, LA 70739 EMAIL: [email protected] INSTAGRAM:   / tales_from_an_empty_nest   Recipe: 1 cup all purpose flour 1 1/4 old fashioned rolled oats 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup plain m&m Preheat your oven to 350. Mix together the flour, oats, salt, baking powder and baking soda and set aside. In your mixer, combine the butter and sugars and mix for about 2-3 mins. Add peanut butter and mix until well incorporated. Add the egg and vanilla and mix well. Add the dry ingredients and mix until just incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chips and m&ms. Scoop onto a cookie sheet (either lined with silicone or parchment paper or sprayed with cooking spray). Bake for 10-12 mins or until the edges are lightly brown. Let them cool on the pan for a minute or 2 and then cool completely on a cooling rack. *To freeze and cook from frozen: Scoop onto a cookie sheet and put in freezer until frozen, about an hour or two. Once frozen, put them in a freezer bag and label with times, oven temp, etc. To cook from frozen, just add about 2 mins to the cooking time* I use EPIDEMIC SOUND for my music and sound effects, with paid subscription.
