Pocahontas State Park is located in Chesterfield, Virginia, southwest of Richmond. It's a large park with a large campground -- 129 RV sites, plus cabins and yurts. The park also offers rentals of small cabins and yurts. Hookups: 30 amp electric and water Connectivity: On T-Mobile, we got one to two bars of 5G. Bathrooms: There are bathhouses located conveniently throughout the campground. Each has toilets for men and women, and four single-stall unisex showers at the back. Bathrooms and showers were clean. The showers had hot water and decent pressure. Campground amenities: Pocahontas has a gift store/office at the park entrance selling t-shirts, snacks, stickers, magnets, books and other gifty stuff. A camp store, located inside the campground sells a few t-shirts, ice, snacks and camping-related items. Firewood is also available.
