Floristry Tutorial: Kale, White Rose and Berries Classic Urn Design

I was at the flower stand the other day and I heard someone say ‘When did cabbages become flowers?’ From behind the ladies, I said, ‘and don’t they look amazing beside those lovely white roses!’ We started a conversation and I promised a segment demonstrating how they could be used in a floral design. The great thing about Kale flowers is that they last such a long time and can be used in both formal and informal floral designing. I’m teaming them up with white roses and berries. For this design you will need: Urn or container of your choice Wet foam to fill cavity of urn Several stems of white berries or sprigs of blue gum Several stems of green and white Kale flowers 1 bunch of white roses Water to mist once design is finished Snips for cutting.
