On a cloudy afternoon of April 11, 2025, we set off in our yellow VW New Beetle for a scenic drive along the coast of Barcelona, Spain. Leaving from the quiet neighborhood of Urbanització Vallbona, we followed the winding roads that hug the Mediterranean, watching waves crash below the cliffs as we made our way through the charming seaside village of Garraf. Continuing onward, the road led us to Sitges—a vibrant coastal town known for its whitewashed buildings and laid-back atmosphere. We took our time cruising through its streets, soaking in the seaside energy before turning inland. The return leg of our journey took a dramatic shift in scenery as we climbed into the rugged terrain of the Garraf Massif. The narrow mountain roads twisted through dense pine forests and rocky outcrops, eventually guiding us to the peaceful village of Olivella, tucked into the hills.
