As of December 12th, 2024, news has spread that at last, a contemporary depiction of the last Roman Emperor, Constantine XI Palaiologos, was discovered in the Old Monastery of the Taxiarches in Aigialeia. Is it 100% true? Should we question this at all? Why are we sure that it is Constantine? All these questions deserve further discussion and I am here to provide. Please, also READ THE PINNED COMMENT.
