RCAP provides unrestricted monthly cash to people exiting Rapid Rehousing, trusting them to cover real-life costs such as utilities, childcare, and emergencies that often determine whether housing is kept or lost. By treating participants with dignity and filling the gap between wages and the Bay Area’s high cost of living, RCAP dispels harmful myths and helps people stay housed for good.
