This video contains two recent matches I had with the Nu Gundam on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 700 cost general with excellent stun accumulation, great mid-range DPS, LV3 Emergency Evasion, great evasiveness and a deployable funnel barrier with can block ranged attacks. Its weaknesses would be lack of Maneuver Armor, low HP, mediocre melee ability and both primary options not having the longest range. I think this suit still has the potential to do well in matches and still has some of the best midrange DPS at 700 cost, but it is definitely flawed now. But if you have a keen understanding of stun accumulation, good positioning and good aim then you can do a lot with it. This first match was in rated with the beam rifle, but the second match was in a custom match with the bazooka. I hope that you enjoy watching! The Nu Gundam can choose between a beam rifle or bazooka for its primary weapon. The beam rifle has 700x4 (3500) power, 13%x4 (90%) heat, 0.8 seconds cooldown, 18 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 300m (450m) range, 2.5 seconds focus time and 20%x4 (80%) stagger value. This has great stats across the board but it's uncharged shots have great DPS and stagger value. Uncharged shots have somewhat short range but the charged shot is great for longer distances. The bazooka has 2900 power, 5 ammo, 6 seconds cooldown, 13 seconds reload, 1.5 seconds swap time, 300m range and 80% stagger value. This is one of the best bazookas in the whole game, the only weakness being somewhat short range. It can deal amazing damage to suits with low ballistic resist and offers an instant stun without charging when compared with the beam rifle. Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2900 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap and 60% combo modifier. This lacks the burst damage which other 700 cost melee weapons get, so it is mostly useful for just self defence. Its first sub weapon is a vulcan gun with 120 power, 60 ammo, 450 RPM, 13 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 200m range, 900 DPS and 6% stagger value. This has solid performance in terms of vulcans with good DPS and stunning in just under 2.3 seconds. It pairs well with your funnels, beam rifle or shield missiles to stagger. Its second sub weapon is a shield beam cannon with 1800 power, 85% heat, 5 seconds cooldown, 20 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 400m range and 10% stagger value. This does modest damage but instantly staggers. This is your go to tool for close range self defence. Its third sub weapon are fin funnels with 350x6x2 power, 55%x2 heat, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 22 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 250m range, 5%x6x2 stagger value and 0.7 seconds lock time. These can be used while boosting and have pretty good damage. They pair well with your beam rifle or vulcans to stagger enemies. Its fourth sub weapon is a fin funnel barrier with 100% heat, 30 seconds overheat and 0.77 seconds swap. This lasts for 10 seconds and has 3000 HP, but doesn't block melee swings like Phenex or Moon Gundam's barriers. Its fifth sub weapon is a shield missile launcher with 650 power, 4 ammo, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 300m range and 35% stagger value. They have high damage and stagger value, so you can use them to stun an enemy or to dump damage on them in combination with other weapons. The Nu Gundam has 20000 HP and 26 resistances in all categories. It's one of the squishiest 700 cost suits now. It's only buffer skill is a 30% reduction funnel buffer. You aren't bulky enough to frontline so make sure not to take too much risk when close up. It has LV3 Emergency Evasion which makes you consume just 70% thrust for a dodge roll. It also has 140 walk speed, 220 boost speed, 75 thrust and 81 turning speed. This isn't the best mobility for 700, especially since you only have LV2 Forced Injector and Flight Control. Though this changes at 30% HP once Psychoframe Resonance activates to add +10 walking/boosting speed, -25% thrust consumption, +25 turning speed and -50% funnel lock time. This makes you incredibly slippery and hard to catch while also making your funnels lock on very quickly. Overall I feel like the Nu Gundam has become a little outdated in the face of advancing powercreep. The low durability and lack of stun resistance makes it an easy target to pick off for suits like Sinanju or Moon Gundam, while the mediocre melee ability makes it not worth using the melee except for knocking over enemies. I think that it deserves a pretty substantial buff. It would be nice if it got +1000 HP, LV1 Maneuver Armor, 80% saber combo modifier, 0.5 seconds saber swap time, 300m funnel range along with 350m range for both the beam rifle and bazooka. But even in its current state I wouldn't say it is weak, just fighting an uphill battle in common 700 cost match-ups. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
