Epic Sledding at Mt. Rigi in Switzerland

Mount Rigi or "The Queen of the Mountains" as it is sometimes known, is a 1,789 meters high mountain close to Luzern. It is a great destination to visit in all seasons. In the winter-time, when there is enough snow, is a great place to go sledding. Back in pre-pandemic times, in January 2019, my husband and I went there and sled down the excellent sledding trail from Rigi Kulm to Rigi Klösterli. After some fun time on snow, we treated ourselves with delicious lunch at the Rigi Kulm hotel. Then we sled back down to Rigi Kaltbad where we saw the historic steam-train. As usual, we enjoyed our day out.
