NOTE: I may have said Pilot a bunch of time in this video, I always meant PENTEL. This is a look at the under-rated Energel-X ( http://amzn.to/2mO7yKA ), the Energel "Deluxe" ( http://amzn.to/2o8ZgND ), and then the premium version Engerel Alloy ( http://amzn.to/2owtnux ). The pen is said to be specially configured for lefties thanks to the quick-drying in, but I haven't found it to be too special in this area. It's better than most but the Sarasa Dry from Zebra is the best. Basically, the Energel-X is a nice Pilot G2 competitor, though I prefer the Pilot. The Deluxe, isn't really Deluxe, so I'd skip it. And finally there is the Alloy, which is the premium version, which is pretty impressive for $5. In fact, the cheapest metal-body premium Japanese pen that I know of. So while the quality doesn't rival that of many metal-bodied Japanese premium pen versions, that fact that it's just $5 is downright impressive. Drop in one of these free-flowing, quick-drying 0.7mm or 1.0mm refills and you have yourself a solid pen for very little money.
