Emotional Drunk Girl Arrested for DWI at OVER DOUBLE the Limit

Around 1:48 AM on April 6, 2025, Patrolman David Bowen with the Plainsboro Township Police Department observed white 2017 Toyota Corolla swerving on Route 1 southbound in the vicinity of Scudders Mill Road. He activated his emergency lights to initiate a traffic stop, and the driver initially pulled into the left lane before crossing back into the center lane and eventually stopping in the right lane just south of Mapleton Road. He made contact with the driver of the Toyota, who was identified as 23-year-old Olivia Dominguez. She provided him with a suspended driver’s license, and failed to produce a valid registration or proof of insurance. As he was speaking with Olivia, he detected the odor of alcohol and observed other indicators of impairment. Olivia told him that she was headed to her boyfriend’s house near Atlantic City after leaving her home in North Bergen. Olivia eventually admitted to drinking alcohol earlier that evening. Based on his suspicion of impairment, Olivia was asked to exit the vehicle and perform field sobriety exercises after Corporal Atkinson and Patrolman O’Brien arrived on scene to assist. Patrolman Bowen started with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test, and he observed 4/6 indicator of impairment. The second exercise was the Walk and Turn test. During the Walk and Turn test, Olivia failed to touch heel-to-toe on each step, took an incorrect number of steps, and failed to keep her arms at her sides. The final exercise was the One Leg Stand test. During the One Leg Stand test, Olivia failed to raise her foot in the prior fashion and displayed a lack of balance. Based on her erratic driving, the odor of alcohol, her admission to consuming alcohol earlier that evening, and her inability to satisfactorily complete the field sobriety exercises, Olivia was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. After she was placed under arrest and placed inside the patrol car, her vehicle was impounded for a 12-hour hold according to John’s Law. Patrolman Bowen transported Olivia to the Plainsboro Township Police Department for further processing. At the station, Olivia was read the Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators, and she agreed to submit breath samples. Her Alcotest results eventually indicated a BAC level of 0.170%, which was more than double the legal limit of 0.08%. After the Alcotest was complete, she was released to her boyfriend pending her court appearance after he signed the Potential Liability Warning on Olivia’s behalf. She was issued the following citations: -Operating under the influence -Reckless driving -Careless driving -Failure to keep right -Traffic on marked lanes -Traffic on marked lanes – nearest right lane -Failure to possess driver registration -Failure to possess driver insurance card -Driving with a suspended license -Failure to have inspection -Failure to conform to motor vehicle inspection law -No liability insurance coverage on motor vehicle -Obstruction of windshield for vision Court records indicate that on August 17, 2025, Olivia was ticketed again for driving with a suspended registration in Wall Township, New Jersey. The vehicle she was driving has previously received dozens of parking tickets in North Bergen and Hoboken. Olivia even has an outstanding ticket for urinating in public (Ordinance 154-2A) that she received in Seaside Heights, New Jersey on May 29, 2022. ---------------------------------------------- Please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and consider supporting this channel (email us for more information). (P.L. 2024, c.16). Defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty. The New Jersey Supreme Court has previously affirmed in Salzano v. North Jersey Media Group, 993 A.2d 778 (2010) that “The fair-report privilege reflects the judgment that the need, in a self-governing society, for free-flowing information about matters of public interest outweighs concerns over the uncompensated injury to a person's reputation.” This video advances a compelling public interest. The summary of events was based on records that are “open to public view through open access to public records” as defined in the Salzano case. In Ramos v. Flowers, 429 N.J. Super. 13, the Appellate Division of the Superior Court has also affirmed the right to film law enforcement interactions.
