She is the kuladevi of Mysore region. Nrityashree Festival was organised as a concluding event of Nrityashree Summer Workshop 2022 organised by Sangeet Kala Kendra and Nrutyambalam in association with Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh. Bismillah Khan awardee Parshawanath Upadhayay was gracious enough to accept the invitation to conduct a 3 days workshop in Kolkata. Approximately 70 students participated in this event. Mr. Atanu Das and Smt. Esha Banerjee were the event organiser. This Bangalore based artist need no introduction. Bismillah Khan awardee from Ministry of Culture, Govt of India, he has performed throughout the length and breadth of the country and abroad. Extremely polite by nature yet sharp he is indeed a great asset to the country.
