#arthurgrowler / @arthurgrowler5749 Visit down to Llandudno in North Wales to capture the Inspiration Train parked up for 3 days in the station. Great insight of the railway over a 200 year period !! Just a shame the 3rd display carriage was not available due to an electric fault !! Information regarding the exhibition below The schedule for the train, named Inspiration, now covers 27 locations across England, Scotland and Wales to the end of the bicentenary year. The train opens to the public on 27 June at the Severn Valley Railway in Worcestershire and will criss-cross Britain for 12 months, visiting 60 locations and showcasing rail’s past, present and future. The tour for 2026 will be unveiled later this year. Curated in partnership with the National Railway Museum, Inspiration will be the only exhibition train on the rail network and will help to attract the next generation of pioneering talent to the railway. The train comprises four eye-catching carriages, powered by a locomotive. Rail’s pioneering pedigree will be explored in a ‘Railway Firsts’ coach, highlighting landmark moments in rail’s development. Adjoining will be a ‘Wonderlab on Wheels’, inviting visitors to test their engineering skills with hands-on exhibits. Next will be a ‘Your Railway Future’ carriage, showcasing some of the more hidden roles in rail and encouraging people to join the railway to shape the next 200 years. The final coach is a ‘Partner Zone’, offering free, flexible exhibition space. The fit-out of the carriages is nearing completion, supported by a £250k grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund and generous funding from Porterbrook covering the distinctive external livery, which will be unveiled later this month. More than 200,000 people, including many schoolchildren, are expected to visit by prior booking. Admission to the train will be free, but normal entry charges to heritage railways and private sites where it is located will apply. The train will visit the North East of England in September – rail’s 200th anniversary month – as part of S&DR200, a nine-month international festival inspired by the opening of the Stockton and Darlington Railway (S&DR) in 1825, a journey that changed the world forever. ⏱️TIMESTAMP⏱️ 00:00-00:08 Channel Introduction 00:08-01:01 Photo Gallery & Scan Me 01:01-03:39 Drone Fly Over Llandudno Station 03:39-03:49 Llandudno Station Click 03:49-04:16 66710 04:16-05:52 Inspiration display coach one 05:52-08:23 Inspiration display coach two 08:23-08:31 Inspiration Coach livery 08:31-08:40 Past coach livery 08:40-08:48 Present coach livery 08:48-08:57 future coach livery 08:57-09:05 Together coach livery 09:05-08:42 66719 08:42-10:37 Past coach logo history by year 10:37-11:36 Present coach logo by activity 11:36-11:54 66710 11:54-12:12 66710 & 66719 3Z22 Llandudno to Bristol East Depot 12:12-12:26 Thanks for Watching the Arthur Growler YouTube Channel 👀👍
