Ego compatible battery powered all of my Ego power tools (Select Cut 21" self propelled mower, hedge trimmer, string trimmer, leaf blower, Power Head, portable area light) and my 150 watt square wave power inverter. I can charge it using either my older style regular charger or the fast charger (but it charges at 156 watts, not 260 watts on the fast charger). HOWEVER, the Ego 400 watt pure sine wave inverter (PAD 5000) will NOT work with it. The Nexus Escape Power Station will not recognize or work with it. I opened it up, and it appears to have a legit BMS that has sense wires to every cell and two temperature sensors, but apparently the BMS doesn't satisfy whatever demands the PAD5000 or the Nexus Escape power station have for the batteries. I also confirmed that it has a 2 parallel, 14 serial arrangement of Sunpower 2,000 mAh 18650 batteries, confirming that it is a 4 Ah battery (2000 mAh * 2 cells in parallel = 4,000 mAh or 4 AH). [I originally determined it was a 3.75 - 4AH battery by determining that from empty it only took 210 watt hours to recharge.] So, it lies about it's capacity, but is a relatively performant 4AH battery that works with most (but not all) of the Ego power tool line of equipment. [BUT, it may not work with any new devices that Ego releases....]
