Released online today 'Alpaca Man' is the story of Joe Phelan, an ex-bank worker turned full-time Alpaca farmer. In this mini-documentary we visit Joe as he introduces us to his alpacas Ted, Ted 2, Gene Simmons and Katie but to name a few. Joe names every alpaca and his first few were named after his own children. Based in the beautiful Wicklow fields, Joe created a business of Alpaca trekking a number of years ago which invites the public to walk with alpacas. In Alpaca Man Joe shares with us his journey to get the family farm back up and running, the reactions het gets from the public, the lows of losing his favourite alpaca Clyde and how leaving the bank to work with alpacas full time has brought him happiness in his work.
